You thought I was kidding...

Here are the promised pictures. They kinda suck because it was at night and we used the flash, but he's cute so it makes up for it. I love these pajamas! For some reason he just looks extra cute in them. He wore them all day yesterday because I just couldn't take them off! I think it's because the make his little diapered bum look cute. And the gorilla is velvety! I got them from Carter's if anyone is wondering. Enjoy!

So I joined "Pinterest".
I put it off for a while because I already spend too much time on the computer but I've found Pinterest to be the least time consuming so far.
Don't get me wrong you could spend hours on there, but I usually just skim over the people I'm following and snag their lucky finds.
The most useful thing is the food ideas.
I always despair when it comes to making the weekly meal plan.
WHAT THE HECK TO HAVE FOR DINNER THAT'S HEALTHY AND TASTES GOOD!!!!!!
I've made a couple of the tasty delights I've found (unfortunately the first is not so healthy...)
So far they have all turned out pretty amazing.
So I will share one or two of our favourites.

Cheesy Garlic Bread
These are purely delightful.
The recipe makes two of these bad boys and I thought "oh we'll only eat one"

You can also use this recipe for just plain old pizza and top it with whatever you fancy.
I made a marinara sauce to dip ours in and it went just perfectly!
They are not the healthiest so we are trying to put off having it too often.
To be honest I could eat it all day every day!

Broccoli & Beef
This was pretty easy to make and is super tasty.
Only problem is there are a couple things in the ingredients list that you probably won't have to hand unless you are Chinese food buff.
They were all really easy to find though and weren't very expensive.
Pretty sure they will all last pretty long to, or you could make it every day for a couple weeks........

Oh and I forgot to start the rice until after the beef and broccoli was done so the sauce had evaporated quite a bit by the time it was all ready soooo DON'T FORGET THE RICE!! (unless you don't like rice, than feel free....it would probably taste pretty good on some noodles)

SICK!

Being sick sucks.

When your baby is sick it sucks even more.

This particular baby has been sick off and on since Jan 24th.......yeah.....

So Euan had his 12 month vaccinations at the end of Feb. 

Which basically gave him the measles.

I know what you're thinking, but it CAN'T give them the measles, its supposed to STOP them from getting the measles. 

I kid you not, he got a full blown case of baby measles, complete with the itchy rash and high temperature for days on end. 

The Dr. was in denial at first, which put me off going to the Dr. ever, ever again. 

I went back when he wasn't getting better(he also had a horrendous cold to add to his misery)

She admitted when we went back that it probably was the measles.

They are sending off a report to the vaccine people, which is fine, but really they should tell you these things can happen in the first place.

He's on the mend now, he's on antibiotics for his crappy cold and is eating like a champ.

(measles makes your mouth sore so he only drank milk and juice for 4 days)

HAIR!

So I know I said I'd never cut his lovely, curly, sweet, luscious, and wonderful hair...but it was getting out of control. 

He was always rubbing his dinner in it and it grows back anyway. 

Right?

It does grow back doesn't it....?

SNOW!

I knew that winter couldn't possibly be over yet!

Glenns dream came true when we got a good 40 cm of snow on monday. 

Makes for tricky driving but with sicko in the house we have no where to go anyway!

We only lasted like 10 minutes outside, it was cold, and Euans snot seemed to run more freely outdoors.

Seriously Ma, you want me to go out there?
