Christmas animal cruelty....

So because we don't have kids yet, and can't dress them up in cute Christmasy things we have resorted to dressing our dog up as a reindeer. Needless to say he is unimpressed......as you can probably tell from his expression.

Nothing.....

There is nothing new in the HOLE HOUSE!!! We are just busy working, working, and WORKING. We can't wait for Christmas but I can't bring myself to decorate yet, its just to soon....... just kidding the real reason is there are no real Christmas trees for sale yet and we want a real one this year, I want to decorate NOW!! I am a bit worried that Ollie the dog will eat the tree if its real, he loves to chew on branches he finds outside. I think it will be a nice Christmas challenge, something to keep us on our toes. Anyway not much else new, having fun watching 24(love it! Jack is my hero), reading, writing, playing with Ollie the dog, playing with Glenn the husband, being excited for Christmas, spending all our money on Christmas, and general fun-ness.

The Queen

Ok so maybe the Queen wasn't in this carraige but we were at Buckingham Palace and it did go inside the gates and come out with a secret person in it. I for one thought it was the Queen but no one else was convinced. Apparently the Queen does go incognito to the theatre all the time, with hidden bodyguards and everything. She is the annoying one who arrives just as the play starts and you have to get up to let in. Shame on you Your Majesty!!!

Stonehenge

So my mom came to visit and we went to Stonehenge, it was cold, a bunch of rocks in the cold. I wouldn't reccomend coming all the way to England just to see it, but I suppose if you have nothing else to do, why not eh? We had loads of fun though touring around England and seeing all the sights. If I can be not lazy I will put more pictures up but most of them are on Glenns computer and so they might not make it. Enjoy.

:)

Yogurt, in case you were wondering.......as you can probably tell from this picture our maturity level is about 0. It all started rather innocently, there was a container of yogurt, and a spoon. It didn't end well, for the yogurt anway. We had fun though.

Hmmmmm......

Lets see what is new....... we had a super fun time down in Cornwall! The biggest news of that trip would have to be that Glenn FINALLY caught a fish! I was made Young Womens president which should be interesting! Ollie was sick last week and decided to throw up all over my house, charming:) And the most exciting news would have to be that my Mom is coming to visit me in October!!! Yay!!! Niece and Nephew:)

This is Meghan and Joseph my niece and nephew. It was taken a couple weeks ago when we went to the beach. Meghan was chasing a chip bag across the beach, she went out quite far and Joseph decided she had gone far enough, so he went out and towed her back. Very cute:)

Bath

So here is the promised picture of when we went to the Bath assembly halls that Jane Austen herself used to frequent. As you can see we are assuming the dancing position. I'm sure Jane Austen would be proud:)

Hot Summer Day:)

So for one of the only HOT summer days we had this year we decided to go to the beach. It was a couple weeks ago which shows how bad I am at updating my blog:( We went to Rest Bay in South Wales. It was a lovely hot day perfect for chillin in the sun reading a book. Olly came too even though we weren't sure if dogs were allowed on the beach. No one caught us so it was okay. He loved running after us but wasn't too sure about the sea once he was tumbled by a few waves, we are evil dog owners though and kept taking him out and making him swim back:) Anyway here is a picture of me relaxing with my book!

I'm rubbish at this.....

So I haven't added anything to my blog for ages. But if you recall my first post I never promised to be any good:) So whats new......not much to be honest. Glenn is finished University and has a job offer in Bath. He is going to take the train there and we are staying in Bristol, but after visiting Bath this weekend I think I am in love. It is amazing! We spent the day there and did some shopping which was lovely! We got see Jane Austens house and the Bath assembly halls where she used to go to balls. It was really nice and very pretty! I'll dig up some pictures soon to put on here. Other than our Bath trip not much else is new. I've been busy working away making money. It has been mixed weather so far this summer, rainy one day and nice and hot the next. If only all the hot days fell on my day off!!

Happy Birthday to me:)

So it was my birthday yesterday, I had to work which stunk but other than that it was a nice day. Glenn made me dinner and we watched a funny movie. I got to talk to some of the family and I got lots of prezzies, which lets be honest, is the most important part of the whole day! Anway, thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!

A few more pictures of our weekend, there is one of us on the cool rocks, one of me taking a picture upside down because I was super bored while the boys 'tried' to catch fish:), one of me fishing through the window, and the other two are of us crossing the causeway to the island, enjoy:)

Weekend in Cornwall

Me, Glenn and Ollie had an amazing weekend in Cornwall at Sandy and Phils! The weather was super sunny the whole time and we even got a bit of sunburn on our noses:) We went to Carnbrea and climbed up a hill to see some awesome rock formations and a cool castle turned into a restaurant. We went to Porthlevan and the boys did some fishing, sadly they didn't catch anything but maybe next time(we say that every time but they never catch anything!) We went to St Michaels Mount which was really cool, it is a little castle village on an island, you can walk to it on a causeway when the tide is out. We were a bit impatient and didn't wait until the tide was fully out so we were walking in about a foot of sea water, with our jeans rolled up carrying our shoes, VERY COLD! I couldn't feel my feet by the time we got there but it was a cool village, lucky Ollie got carried! We then spent the Sunday in St Ives which has some amazing beaches. The picture above was taken on one of the cute cobbled streets in the town. There were tons of seagulls though and sadly there were a few casualties of seagull bombs:) Overall a very tiring but fun weekend!

Lawn Mower Dog

Not much of an explanation needed really. My dog looks like a lawn mower with legs.

Sunny Sunday

We went for a walk today with Sandy & Phil-who were visiting for the weekend-to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. This is our family picture with me, Glenn and Ollie. It was a very nice sunny day but a bit windy. Smile Ollie.

The Invalid

So here is the invalid himself, he is feeling very sorry for himself and I'm sure very humiliated. I personally think his conehead is very stylish. He's feeling a lot better today than yesterday but still a bit sore.

Poor Ollie

So poor Ollie our 7 month old Lhasa Apso puppy was neutered today. There were a few complications so he has stitches all down his tummy. He also has a poorly nose, he has an infection on it and has to be on antibiotics. Needless to say he is not a happy pup! He is currently stretched out on the floor whimpering in his sleep. Here is a picture pre-injuries to show him in his former glory!!
