This is kind of like an update on the things that have happened since we arrived in the Great White(brown) North. I'll try my hardest not to make it wickedly boring, I can't promise anything though.
We had a crazy summer.
Glenns mum and sister came for a quick visit. We enjoyed showing them a bit of Southern Alberta and Euan enjoyed being perpetually mushed on.
Glenn had to go back to London to get his passport stamped so he was gone for 3 weeks. Luckily during that 3 weeks his brother Dai got married so he was able to attend! Me and Euan had a lazy 3 weeks playing on the farm in the hot summer sun. Euan adored all the farm animals and loved to spend all his time lounging in his own personal Euan sized pool.
I got a job for a couple weeks then quit when Glenn left. It made me realize I'm not a fan of leaving the babe at home with out his mama.
Glenn came back(hurrah!) and got a job selling corn(be jealous, you too can sell corn if you live in the corn capital of Canada) while he studied for his exams to qualify to work as an audiologist. He passed! Yeah!
Euan turned 1 and I am still in shock. If someone could please let me know how to slow down time that would be awesome. He had a small party with family, ate cake, and was spoiled.
Glenn got a job and we moved to North East Calgary. Then he quit after a week and got an even better job. But its downtown so he has an evil commute everyday, but likes his job so its worth it...right?
Mr. Euan learned to walk. He was on the edge of walking for ever and one night, while nude from a bath, he decided walking was the way to go. He's not looked back since!
Euan got his first haircut. I cut it myself and cut it short. He looked far to grown up and it was like a little boy invaded my house. Its all grown out again now and I won't cut it again you can't make me!
My Mama got re-married to a super cool guy from Arizona which is awesome but sad because now she lives in Arizona...you'd think she was trying to avoid me since I just moved back to the same continent...
Our awesome friends we met in Bristol moved back to Canada and stayed with us for 3 1/2 weeks while they got settled. It was fun having someone for Euan to play with and friends to hang out with all the time. And did you know its cheaper to share the grocery bill if you only have to pay for half...who would have thought! Anyone want to move in with us? Anyone? No? Fine....
Christmas came and went in a flurry of presents, delicious food, family, friends and a lot of chocolate. We all got spoiled (especially Euan, he needs to teach me how he does that) and had a great time.
I spent New Years Eve with a kicking cold while Euan and Glenn partied without me.
And now here we are.
There is, of course, a thousand other little things that happened in between... but these are the main events, for now...
Ok so now for the pictures. It is impossibly hard to choose only a few pictures of the last 6 months. Whoa do kids change fast! And yes the majority(all) of them are of Euan. And yes they are all crappy phone pictures but that's what you get when you lend your mother your camera and she leaves it behind at Lake Louise...thanks mom. (don't worry we bought a new camera on the weekend...I'm in love! If only I could figure out how to use it!)
